HSBC Private Bank has appointed a Head of Investment Services and Product Solutions, Continental Europe and MENA.
Bryan Henning has been hired in to the newly created role of Head of Investment Services and Product Solutions, Continental Europe and MENA, for HSBC Private Bank. He will take up his new role on 1 April 2016 and will be based in Geneva, Switzerland.
Henning (pictured left) joins from Barclays Wealth in Singapore, where since 2010,he was Head of Global Research and Investments for Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
Prior to this he was Global Product Head for Wealth Management within the Consumer Banking business at Standard Chartered Bank, where he was responsible for strategy, product development and risk management, covering all wealth segments.
A Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of banking experience, Henning has specialist knowledge of product and advisory services within the wealth management business serving all client segments.
Westward Career Move
He will be responsible for managing the delivery of HSBC private banking products and investment services to clients in Europe and the Middle East. He will oversee the execution of Fixed Income, Equities, Futures and Options, Foreign Exchange and Structured Products.
Henning is the second senior ex-Singapore based wealth management professional to make a westward career move this month following the recent move of Peter Flavel to take up the CEO post at U.K. bank Coutts.
