The former Group Managing Director of Human Resources of HSBC Holdings, is set to be elected to the Board of Directors of Julius Baer Group.
Julius Baer has nominated Ann Almeida for election to the Board of Directors of the Group at the Annual General Meeting on 13 April 2016 and also for election to the Board of the Bank.
Over the course of her career Almeida has held several senior global management positions, mainly in the human capital area: amongst others, she spent 23 years at HSBC Holdings where she was latterly Group Managing Director of Human Resources & Corporate Sustainability and a member of the Group Executive Board.
She currently holds senior advisory and directorship positions at Jadwa Investments, Fajr Capital, and the Axiata Group. Ann Almeida will commence her mandate at Julius Baer as of 1 June 2016.
