Toronto based Manulife has announced a new Vice President and Chief Information Officer for the firm in Hong Kong.
Mark Van den Broek has been appointed as the new CIO and, as a member of Manulife Hong Kong’s senior management team. He will lead the Hong Kong Information Service (HKIS) team in the planning and implementation of organization IT systems in support of the Hong Kong business operations.
«Mark brings with him a strong track record of delivery and a wealth of experience leading and delivering change and transformation initiatives,» said Guy Mills, Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer, Manulife (International).
Being a core member of the Asia IT and operations leadership team, Van den Broek will also provide vision and leadership for developing and implementing information technology initiatives at the regional level.
Van den Broek has 18 years of experience in IT and operations. Before joining Manulife, he held a number of senior management positions, most recently as regional chief information officer of AXA Asia.
