Asset Manager Pimco has augmented its North Asian real estate coverage adding a seasoned property specialist to its team.
Frank Chen has been appointed as a Senior Vice President and Credit Research Analyst covering real estate. Chen is based in Pimco’s Hong Kong office.
Chen (pictured below) will be responsible for credit research on China’s property sector, in addition to other Asia ex-Japan real estate coverage.
Chen joins Pimco from CBRE where he was Head of Research, Greater China. Prior to CBRE, he held various positions at BNP Paribas, J.P. Morgan Securities and Macquarie Bank. He is also a frequent speaker at industry conferences. He will report to Raja Mukherji, Executive Vice President and Head of Credit Research, Asia, who is also based in Pimco's Hong Kong office.
