Commercial real estate services and investment firm CBRE has appointed a new Managing Director, Head of Advisory & Transaction Services for Greater China, effective immediately.
Virginia Huang, (pictured) who takes on the role with immediate effect, will report to Ben Duncan, President of North Asia and CEO of Greater China, and matrix to Manish Kashyap, Head of Advisory & Transaction Services, Asia Pacific, the firm said in a statement.
CBRE consolidated its leasing businesses under the Advisory & Transaction Services (A&T) banner globally across the office, retail and industrial sectors, acknowledging the importance of taking a holistic approach to each market. Virginia Huang will now have oversight of the occupier and investor leasing businesses across all sectors and markets throughout Greater China.
Huang started her career at CBRE as a graduate trainee on the Office Services team in Beijing in 1997, and has been a driving force to CBRE's accession as market leader in North China since being promoted to Managing Director of the Beijing office in 2013, she will maintain responsibility for the CBRE North China business until a plan is identified for her successor.
