Global law firm White & Case has augmented its banking capabilities in Asia with the addition of a local partner in Hong Kong.
Andrew Bishop (pictured) who joins the firm’s Global Banking Practice, works with financial sponsors, corporate borrowers and banks and has significant experience advising borrowers and sponsors on structuring and negotiating complex cross-border financing transactions. He also advises investment banks, private equity funds, venture funds, institutional and strategic investors on a wide range of financing transactions, the firm said in a statement.
Bishop joins White & Case from Ropes & Gray, and brings 9 years of experience. «Andrew’s addition follows the recent arrival of a number of lateral partners who have joined our banking, M&A and private equity practices in Hong Kong,» said partner Eric Berg, Head of Asia-Pacific.
