The Australia and New Zealand Banking Group in Singapore has hired from a close rival for the appointment of Senior Asia Rates Strategist.
Jennifer Kusuma joins the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ) from BNP Paribas where she was FX and Interest Rates Strategist, focusing on currency and fixed income on Southeast Asian markets.
In the new role Kusuma (pictured) will report to Khoon Goh, ANZ’s Head of Asia Research, the bank said in a statement.
Before her stint at BNP Paribas she was Asian Rates Strategist at Standard Chartered Bank, covering Asia ex-Japan. She also held a role with Japanese bank SMBC.
At ANZ, she will provide analysis and insights on fixed income markets within key Asian markets as well as formulating strategies and executable trade ideas, with a particular focus on Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.
«Jennifer is well known among fixed income investors, having been highly commended in the Asian Local Currency Bond Benchmark Review of sell-side research analysts for the past two years,» said Goh.
Kusuma will take up her new role on 21 February 2017 and will be based in Singapore.
