Schroders, the U.K.-based investment manager, has created the job of global head of sales and has put a banker in charge who spent a quarter of a decade working for UBS.
Daniel Imhof is the new global head of sales at Schroders. The Swiss banker is based in London and reports to John Troiano, global head of distribution, the company said in a statement today.
Imhof is an economist and chartered financial analyst. He worked in the wealth management division of UBS for 25 years, most recently as global head of portfolio specialists.
«The creation of this new role reflects our broadening product suite and the requirement for our sales people to possess specialist knowledge across all asset classes,» Troiano was cited as saying in the statement.
