Looking to build business with traditional financial services firms and further develop solutions for small businesses, Xero has added to its Singapore team.
The global cloud accounting platform for small businesses, Xero, has announced the appointment of Gajia Lu in Singapore to the new role of Strategic Partnership Director.
Lu previously worked as Investor Relations Manager for Blackrock in London and a Private Wealth Manager for ANZ in Australia. She rejoins Xero, having already worked at its Australian office in Melbourne as FinWeb Partnerships Manager from 2014 to 2016.
Growing Portfolio of Banks
Her newest role will involve building Xero’s relationships with financial institutions across the Asia Pacific region the firm said in a press release.
Since officially launching its Asia business in January 2016, Xero has already established strong partnerships with leading local banks in Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia including UOB, HSBC and CIMB to provide small business users access to direct bank feed services.
