Wealth Manager Expands Footprint
St. James’s Place Wealth Management Asia is boosting its presence in Singapore with the opening of a new Raffles Place office.
The expansion in Singapore is part of the U.K. headquartered wealth managers long term drive to develop local talent along with its international staff and expatriate business, the firm said in a statement.
Since establishing St. James’s Place (SJP) in Asia in 2014, the Singapore branch has more than doubled in size. In line with its strategy to develop the proposition for the Singapore investor, the new offices will provide capacity to grow local advisory capabilities.

finews.asia reported recently on the appointment of Sir Alan Collins as Senior Advisor to the International Steering Committee at (SJP).
As a former British diplomat.Collins has extensive experience in South East Asia including as High Commissioner to Singapore. Whilst in Singapore, he also served in the delegation that won the 2012 London Olympics.
