St James’s Place Wealth Management Asia has announced a senior appointment to bolster its growing international business.
St James’s Place Wealth Management Asia (SJP Asia), the international business of the FTSE100 wealth manager, has named Sir Alan Collins as Senior Advisor to the International Steering Committee.
SJP Asia expects that Collins extensive experience in South East Asia as a former British diplomat will add invaluable insight as the business develops its position as a leading provider of face-to-face financial advice, the company said in a press release.
SJP Asia currently operate out of offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore.
Olympic Bid Winner
Sir Alan’s Collins diplomatic service includes High Commissioner to Singapore, Ambassador to the Philippines, Director General of the British Trade and Cultural Office in Taiwan, Director General Trade and Investment USA and Consul General New York.
Whilst in Singapore, he also served in the delegation that won the 2012 London Olympics. He currently holds a number of Non-Executive Directorships or advisory roles at international businesses.
