UBS has shaken out its European private banking management after a reorganization. One of the Swiss bank's top female bankers will run its business in Britain.
Zurich-based UBS has streamlined its private bank in Europe and emerging markets, including merging its on- and offshore activities.
The revamp will spark several notable management changes, «Bloomberg» reported.
Thomas Rodermann (pictured above), currently head of UBS' European bank in Frankfurt and responsible for Germany at large, will also be responsible for teams in Switzerland which look after German clients.
U.K. Retirement
The head of UBS' private bank in Italy and Spain, Fabio Innocenzi, will take on responsibility for both on- and offshore clients.
The same applies for Jamie Broderick, who runs UBS' business in the U.K. Broderick, who retires at year-end, will build up a desk in Switzerland for British clients before his departure.
Lindholm Promoted
The most notable staff move is over Broderick's successor: he will be replaced by Eva Lindholm, one of the bank's highest-ranking female bankers. The former J.P. Morgan veteran has been responsible running UBS' ultra-high net worth clients business in Britain for the last five years.
Lindholm, a Finnish native, has also added responsibility for UBS' global family office as well as its private banking business in Scandinavia, as finews.asia recently reported.
