BNP Paribas announced a new head of forex advisory and execution for the Asia Pacific region.
BNP Paribas named Shafali Sachdev as the firm's head of forex advisory and execution for the wealth management division in Asia Pacific (APAC). Based in Singapore, she will report to Arnaud Tellier, head of investment services, APAC.
Sachdev has more than 20 years of investment banking and wealth management experience, including 13 years in senior forex roles at Citibank. Prior to taking on the new job she was head of forex and structured FICC at Citi Private Bank in Singapore.
In addition to leading and advancing the forex advisory and execution services to clients and front office, Sachdev will also work on client experience initiatives via technology and digital platforms, the bank said in a statement.
