Swiss management consultant Synpulse has relocated its chief executive officer to Singapore, from where he will lead the company’s push to grab market share in the insurance business across the region.

Christoph Nuetzenadel, CEO of Synpulse, has moved to Singapore, where he will oversee the development of the firm’s insurance business in Asia, the company said in a statement on Wednesday. Nuetzenadel started working in the city-state at the beginning of the year.

The move was announced together with a number of changes within the management of the Zurich-based consultant. André Burger, who recently worked on the expansion of the business with German banks and asset managers, was named a partner.

Strong Growth

Nuetzenadel and Konrad Niggli became managing partners in addition to Raphael Jung. Niggli is in charge of the U.S. business, working from New York. He is the dedicated partner for the reinsurance unit of Synpulse.

The expansion of the team of partners comes as business with financial service companies is growing strongly, the company said.
