5. Puzzle «External Adviser»
When GAM first made an announcement about the case, it said the investigation had been conducted with the support of external advisers.
The wording suggested that the company may have been made aware of the case by an outside body (by authorities?). If so, the company didn't notice itself or chose to keep the issue under wraps.
