The Fry Group has appointed a Head of Tax in Asia. Starting in April she joins from KPMG and will be based in Hong Kong.

The Fry Group (TFG) is a financial advisory group specializing in working with British expats around the world. On Tuesday, the firm announced the appointment of Anna Warren as Head of Tax Asia, based in Hong Kong.

Starting in April, she will join the group to lead its tax team in providing advice to clients in the region, providing highly personalized service for clients living and working overseas, as well as those returning to the U.K. or moving to new destinations.

Specialized in U.K. Tax Planning

Sound tax advice forms a key part of The Fry Group’s holistic approach to clients’ savings and investment planning requirements, the firm added in a statement.

Warren began her training at KPMG in the Channel Islands, working in the audit practice for three years prior to joining their private client tax department. She transferred to London in 2012 to specialize in providing U.K. tax planning advice to High-Net-Worth individuals. Warren is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and a Chartered Accountant (ACA).

Another Hire

In addition, Charlie Buxton has joined The Fry Group in Hong Kong as a Portfolio Manager. He was previously an Investment Manager at Hurley Partners in London, having worked as an Investment Manager at Investec Private Bank. He started his career at Tilney Bestinvest. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
