The Swiss private bank has made a pair of strategic senior hires in Singapore, as part of its growth strategy and focus on Asia.

Lombard Odier has appointed Carol Chan as chief operating officer and Annie Lim as senior relationship manager, according to a statement on Wednesday.

Chan brings over 30 years of experience in private and investment banking operations for global banks, most recently in her role as managing director of regional and global operations at Credit Suisse. She reports to Vincent Magnenat, limited partner and CEO, Asia.

Lim also joins from Credit Suisse, where she was a senior relationship manager. She brings over 26 years of banking experience, and reports to Valérie d’Argembeau, head of private clients, Singapore. 

Growing Operations

Business and operations in Asia are «growing and flourishing,» Magnenat said.

«Clients in the region have increasingly sophisticated needs and in uncertain times like these, clients heavily rely on us,» he added in the statement.
