Canadian private bank RBC Wealth Management has announced the appointment of a chief operating officer for its Asian unit.
RBC Wealth Management appoints Kamran Azim as chief operating officer (COO), Wealth Management Asia, according to a statement, reporting to chief executive Terence Chow. Based in Singapore, Azim will also serve as deputy CEO for RBC 's branch in the city-state.
Azim joined RBC in 2008 and prior to his latest appointment, he was the Toronto-based head of global credit and cash management. Previously, he also led RBC Wealth Management’s credit team in Singapore as well as the regional lending team in the UK.
