Most affluent Hongkongers are comfortable with using artificial intelligence to guide their wealth management decisions, according to a survey by business consultancy Capco.
Nearly three-quarters (74 percent) of affluent individuals in Hong Kong say they are comfortable with artificial intelligence guiding their wealth management decisions, according to a survey by business consultancy Capco. This includes 25 percent who claim to be «extremely comfortable» with the idea.
As such, 93 percent of respondents have increased their use of digital channels for wealth management purposes in the last two years with 47 percent citing «significantly» increased usage.
Digital Self-Service
In fact, digital models have overcome traditional ones, when considering only a standalone option. 33 percent of respondents prefer purely digital self-service compared to 27 percent who prefer solely human interaction. However, a hybrid model that combines both is still the most preferred option at 39 percent.
Capco’s «2024 Hong Kong Wealth Management Survey» is based on responses from 500 individuals with a minimum investable assets of $100,000.
