Our take: fact. We know of mega bankers (typically at least $1.5 billion to $2 billion in assets) who skip morning meetings and come to the bank at 10 a.m. They have special permission to do so because they are on call with clients 24/7. They are also expected to be present at every family occasion – from graduation ceremonies, to birthdays, to relatives’ weddings. These bankers often travel to these events at the bank's expenses.
