The Bank of Singapore has appointed a former UBS manager as new team head to cover important growth markets in ASEAN.

Seasoned private banker Stephan Lickert has been appointed as team head and executive director taking charge of the Thailand/Indochina team at Bank of Singapore.

Lickert’s brief will be to expand his team and deepen the penetration within those potentially productive markets. His geographical remit will also take in Myanmar.

Lickert moved back to Asia late last year from Zurich where he had spent two years with Jyske Bank as senior wealth management adviser, area manager Asia Pacific & Middle East.

Bank of Singapore must be delighted at the chance to onboard a wealth management and corporate banking professional who possesses more than 25 years of career experience with Swiss banking giant UBS.

Lickert’s experience includes senior corporate banking roles and several years running his own book as well as running north Asian teams for UBS while he was based in Hong Kong.
