2. Angela Bow
With three decades of experience spanning Hong Kong, Tokyo, Geneva and New York and a polished personna to match, Angela Bow has made herself something of a brand in Asian private banking. She is known to take no prisoners, an attitude that Boris Collardi himself favours. «Extremely presentable,» is how one industry source describes her, while another confirms that she used her time at Credit Suisse and UBS to build «real and deep» relationships in the South East Asian markets – an area where Pictet has made many frustrated attempts to build an all-star team.
The fact that she was, until recently, the head of Japan, Emerging Asia and Intermediaries business at Julius Baer, is likely icing on the cake.
