Collardi’s chief of staff at Julius Baer in Zurich, Cedric Heri – with his impeccable manners and tempered disposition – was widely considered the perfect foil for his boss’ more energetic management style. Closer in age to Collardi than most of the others in office, Heri shared a camaraderie with him that very quickly made him the go-to person for anyone wanting access to the CEO.
A former colleague in Zurich describes him as «systematic» and «excellent at executing Boris’ vision» and confirms he was the next-generation of wunderkind st the bank, being groomed for bigger things. Conveniently, Heri, personally based in Singapore, is already in Asia, in Hong Kong as CFO for Julius Baer in the region, a position he has held for only six months.
