Singaporean insurer, Singlife, appoints a fintech veteran as its new deputy chief executive.
Samantha Ghiotti joins Singlife as its new deputy chief executive officer, effective immediately, with a mandate to grow the Singapore business in the midst of the firm's ongoing expansion across key Southeast Asian markets.
Ghiotti has more than 20 years of experience and was most recently a partner at Anthemis Group, a fintech venture investor. Previously, she held multiple senior commercial and digital roles with the likes of American Express, First Data and Royal Bank of Scotland.
«Singapore is well recognized as an innovative global financial hub, yet many Singaporeans are still looking for smarter ways to make their money work harder,» said Ghiotti in a statement. «A next generation financial institution is what it takes to address this need and introduce transformative, innovative financial services that help them manage, grow and protect their money in a smarter, connected way.»
