China Life internally appoints a 29-year insurance veteran to lead its business in Singapore.
Lin Xiangyang joins China Life Insurance Singapore, effective immediately, after most recently being the deputy general manager of the firm’s Fujian branch, a role held since 2011.
Previously, Lin had over 29 years of life insurance experience including various core functions at China Life such as business strategy and planning, sales force and agency management, group insurance as well as channel management. According to a release, he was also a key personnel to «develop and evaluate the management framework at China Life Insurance Company Limited».
China Life set up its Singapore entity in 2015 and is owned by parent group China Life Insurance (Overseas) Limited, which is a leading provider in Hong Kong and Macau with asset value totaling more than $43.3 billion, as of 2018-end.
