Natixis hires a former investment banker from Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group to join its Singapore unit as a senior country manager.
Sanjeev Kumar was named a Singapore senior country manager as well as head of Southeast Asia and South Asia corporate and investment banking, according to a statement. reporting to APAC CEO for corporate and investment banking Bruno Le Saint.
Kumar succeeds Pin Chua who is leaving the bank to pursue «personal ambitions».
Kumar has 25 years of financial experience across New York, London, Hong Kong and Singapore. He was most recently the APAC ex-Japan head of sector coverage and acquisition finance at MUFG. Previously, he had also worked for Barclays Capital, Citigroup, and RBS.
