The Liechtenstein-based bank is retrieved the former CEO of its Swiss business in newly-created transformation role.
Vaduz-based VP bank is hiring Marcel Tschanz as chief of transformation, effective December 1, it said in a statement on Thursday. A partner at PwC for the past four years, Tschanz previously ran VP Bank in Switzerland for a little over two years until 2014.
The Swiss banker, the third hire in short order from the big-four auditing firms, will report directly to CEO Paul Arni, who is spearheading a five-year plan to revitalize the wealth manager as a so-called open wealth service pioneer.
Tschanz's current job sees him advising Swiss and international financial services providers with their growth strategies and agile, digital transformations in their value chains.
