Based in Singapore, he brings more than 22 years' of experience in the financial services industry, and will drive the firm's alternative and corporate offering across the region.
Sanne, a global provider of alternative asset and corporate services, has appointed Tervinder Chal as head of Singapore, the company announced on Wednesday.
Chal joins from AWE, where he was head of APAC fund operations and finance, overseeing and managing operations for four APAC based real estate funds. He also spent nine years with Vastardis Capital Services and Alter Domus as country head in Singapore.
Former Head Relocates
Chal takes over from David Fowler, who recently relocated to Sanne's London office, where he has been appointed global head of private equity.
The FTSE-250 company employs more than 2,000 people worldwide and administers structures and funds that have in excess of £465 billion ($640.7 billion) of assets. It first established a presence in Asia in 2010 when it opened offices in Shanghai and Hong Kong, further opening a Singapore office in 2014, and expanded to Japan in 2019.
