He re-joins HSBC from Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore where, for the last four years, he was global head of product innovation, financing and securities services. 

HSBC has appointed Zhu Kuang Lee as Chief Digital, Data & Innovation Officer for Securities Services with immediate effect, finews.asia has learned.

Based in Singapore, Lee will report to Richard Godfrey, global co-head of securities services, and locally to Sridhar Narayan, head of markets and securities services, ASEAN, the bank said in a note on Wednesday.

At Standard Chartered, Lee led the product innovation team, and multiple agile teams to drive digital transformation, innovation strategy, platforms roadmap and innovation culture. He previously held various product roles at Deutsche Bank, DBS, J.P. Morgan and Royal Bank of Scotland.
