Credit Suisse promotes a team leader to become a market leader for the private banking market in the Philippines, according to an internal memo seen by finews.asia.
Team leader Sacha Eugster has been appointed market leader for the Philippines Market, according to the memo, effective January 3 next year.
Based in Singapore, Eugster will continue reporting to Philippines market group head Marcus Slöör.
Eugster has two decades of wealth management experience and first joined Credit Suisse in 2003. He has held various roles at the Swiss bank across the chief operating officer function as well as the front office.
«Our private banking franchise in the Philippines has maintained a steady growth momentum in recent years and to position ourselves for the next phase of growth, we are strengthening our management team by appointing a new market leader in [Eugster] to deepen our expertise in this exciting market,» Slöör said.
