MSIG Asia has named a new executive vice president for business development and digitalization.
The insurer has named Enny Halim, who will be based in Singapore, to the role, with responsibility for regional business development, distribution channels and products, MSIG Asia said in a press release Tuesday.
The role, which reports to CEO Clemens Philippi, is important for implementing the insurer’s regional growth strategy, the release said.
Previously, Enny was CEO at PT Mandiri AXA General Insurance in Indonesia, a role she held for two years. She was also at PT Asuransi MSIG Indonesia for 24 years, with management roles in areas including production, claims, the retail business, bancassurance and digital, the release said.
MSIG is part of the MS&AD Insurance Group, an Asian general insurance brand; MSIG Asia Is wholly owned by Japan’s Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance.
