A former Deutsche banker has rejoined the German lender to co-head global foreign exchange for the Asia Pacific region.
Darren Boulos rejoins Deutsche Bank as its co-head of global FX for APAC, according to a statement, based in Sydney. Boulos succeeds Lee Merchant who recently relocated to London to take on the new role of global head of spot trading.
Boulos has over three decades of experience, most recently with BNY Mellon as its Singapore-based head of FX sales and trading for APAC. Previously, he worked at Deutsche Bank’s Australia unit for almost a decade.
Another co-head of global FX for APAC will be announced in due course, the statement added.
