Loic Senechal will be located in the city-state from August on after being appointed head of cash management in the transaction banking business.

Major French bank BNP Paribas indicated that Loic Senechal is to become the head of cash management in the Asia Pacific transaction banking business, according to an announcement sent out on Thursday by the institution.

The appointment is effective on 1 August, with Senechal reporting to the regional head of transaction banking, Chye Kin Wee. Senechal joined the bank almost a quarter of a century ago and has held roles in the corporate, institutional, and retail businesses. He has particular expertise in the flow banking business between Europe, the Middle East, Africa - and Asia.

Moving Out of Zurich

He is currently the Zurich-based head of transaction banking in Switzerland.

According to Wee, Senechal is returning to the Asia Pacific region and will be able to combine his «extensive international experience in digital banking solutions and understanding of the APAC market landscape».
