A former BNY Mellon executive has relocated from Boston to Singapore to join Prudential’s investment management arm for Asia, Eastspring Investments, to lead intermediary sales in the region.
George Ferraz joins Eastspring as its regional head of intermediary sales, according to a statement. Based in Singapore, Ferraz reports to Wendy Lim, regional chief executive Asia and global head of distribution, marketing and products.
Ferraz has over 26 years of experience, most recently with BNY Mellon in Boston as its director of new business development and relationship management where he was responsible for APAC distribution channels. Prior to that, he spent 18 years at Fidelity Investments across global and channel relationship management roles.
«In his last role, [Ferraz] was responsible for significant growth in AUM across the Asia Pacific region,» said Lim. «His extensive experience, familiarity with Asian markets, and global network positions him well to lead the growth of our intermediary sales business.»
