Fidelity’s investment management arm has announced the appointment of a head of Taiwan.
Fidelity International appoints Jackson Lee as head of Taiwan and chairman of FIL Securities Investment Trust Co. (Taiwan), according to a statement, effective September 1 and subject to regulatory approval. Based in Taipei, Lee reports to Asia ex-Japan managing director Rajeev Mittal.
Lee has spent a dozen years with Fidelity, having joined the firm in 2010 before relocating to Beijing in late 2011 to develop the mainland China strategy.
Fidelity is one of the earliest foreign asset managers established in Taiwan’s local fund market, with ongoing operations for over 35 years.
