The French-based bank announces the appointment of versed international lending and credit structuring expert.
Tariq Saleim joins BNP Paribas as its head of credit for wealth management APAC, according to a statement, with the step effective on November 1. Based in Hong Kong, Saleim will report to APAC wealth management chief executive Arnaud Tellier and global head of wealth management credit Remi Lefevre-Moulenq.
Saleim joins from the Bank of Singapore where he was most recently its global head of lending products and credit structuring, leading teams in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Dubai. Previous to that, he worked at Barclays, BNP Paribas, UBS, and Standard Chartered in Asia and the Middle East.
«Credit is an essential driver of our business in Asia and a key enabler of our 2025 Strategic Plan,» said Tellier.
