Fidelity’s investment management arm has appointed a former Credit Suisse Asset Management executive as its head of Asian fixed income.
Lei Zhu joins Fidelity International as its head of Asian fixed income, according to a statement, effective January next year.
Based in Hong Kong, Lei reports to Steve Ellis, global chief investment officer, fixed income.
Lei joins from Credit Suisse Asset Management where she was most recently managing director and head of fixed income Asia. She was also a founding member of the Swiss asset manager’s Asian fixed income business, leading the buildout of the Greater China capabilities and supporting the establishment of Singapore-based capabilities. Previously, she also worked at DBS and Ernst & Young.
