BNP Paribas announced the appointment of transaction banking heads for Southeast Asia and India.
BNP Paribas appoints Rupa Balsekar as head of transaction banking, Southeast Asia, and Shreeram Sethuraman as head of transaction banking, India, according to a statement, effective January 1 next year.
Balsekar reports to regional head for Southeast Asia Joris Dierckx and APAC head of transaction banking Chye Kin Wee. Sethuraman report to India CEO Sanjay Singh and Wee.
Balsekar joined BNP Paribas 15 years ago and has been heading India transaction banking since 2015. Sethuraman joined BNP Paribas in 2018 as its head of financial institutions coverage, India.
