A former tech executive from Citi has joined Manulife as its chief operations officer for Asia.
Manulife appoints Anne-Maree Tassell as COO, Asia, according to a statement, reporting to Manulife Asia president and CEO Damien Green as well as global COO Rahul Joshi.
Tassell has over 30 years of experience in financial services, across APAC, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). She joins from Citi where she was most recently its head of operations and technology for the EMEA markets.
«[Tassell] brings considerable expertise to Manulife as we ramp up our digital transformation and customer-centric innovation in Asia,» said Green. «We look forward to supercharging delivery against our strategy in 2023 as we pursue our growth ambitions in Asia.»
