Morningstar Sustainalytics has announced the appointment of a new director in Singapore.
Yayoi Asazuma has been named director, client relations at Morningstar Sustainalytics, according to a statement. In her Singapore-based role, Asazuma will be responsible for meeting the ESG-related needs of institutional investor clients across Singapore, Malaysia and other countries in Southeast Asia.
Asazuma joined Morningstar Sustainalytics in its Tokyo office in 2019 after 20 years with Nomura Securities in Singapore, Hong Kong and London.
Morningstar fully acquired Sustainalytics in 2020 to form Morningstar Sustainalytics, an ESG research, ratings and data firm. The firm currently has 17 offices globally with over 1,500 employees, including more than 500 analysts.
