A 21-year Eastspring veteran has joined Singapore-based Woodside Holdings Investment Management as a partner.

Kelvin Blacklock joins Woodside, according to a statement, to lead its investment team as an equity partner. 

Blacklock has over 30 years of experience, most recently at Eastspring where he spent 21 years. During this time, he built a team of 50 staff in seven locations, leading to assets under management of $158 billion by end-2022. In his last role, he was the head of Eastspring Portfolio Advisors (EPA).

Woodside was formed in 2009 with origins tracing back to a family investment holding company in 1959. Today, it offers services across asset protection, asset management and asset administration. 

It is a unit within parent group Nimoi Holdings, which also owns majority interests in Singapore-based financial firms Global Precious Metals and Atlas Consolidated.
