Insurance giant AIA has announced the appointment of a 26-year veteran as its healthcare chief.
Dr. Kelvin Loh joins AIA as chief healthcare officer, according to a statement, effective May 1.
In the role, Loh will have overall group responsibility for the execution of AIA’s «Integrated Health Strategy» and health-related businesses. He will also become a member of the group executive committee, reporting to group CEO and president Lee Yuan Siong.
Loh has 26 years of experience in the public and private healthcare sectors, beginning his career as a physician in Singapore. He was most recently managing director and CEO of integrated healthcare provider IHH Healthcare Berhad. Prior to that, he was group CEO of private healthcare provider Columbia Asia Group.
