Morningstar’s ESG research arm has hired a former executive from MSCI.
Morningstar Sustainalytics appoints Sylviane Carot as the head of Asia Pacific ESG alliances & redistribution, according to a statement. In the role, Carot will be responsible for driving the company's ESG initiatives and business growth in the region.
Carot has over 19 years of financial services experience and was most recently working at MSCI where she spent 13 years, last as head of ASEAN for asset owners, buy-side and insurance clients in charge of business development of MSCI ESG and climate and index solutions.
Morningstar Sustainalytics currently has 17 offices globally housing over 1,500 staff, including more than 500 analysts with multidisciplinary expertise across 40 industry groups.
