The asset management arm of Goldman Sachs has appointed a Korea head of institutional coverage.
Scott Lim has been named as head of institutional coverage in Korea at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, according to an announcement. As part of the client solutions group, he will focus on public and private fund distribution.
Lim has over two decades of experience in the financial sector and first joined Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong in 2007. Previously, he also worked at Société Générale’s corporate and investment banking unit as well as DWS.
«Given the significant demand for global investment solutions from Korean institutional clients, it is important to have this position onshore in Korea. Over the past few years, we have helped an increasing number of investors diversify their geographical exposure,» said APAC head of the client solutions group Stuart Wrigley, highlighting investor interest in private markets.
