Deutsche Bank’s asset management arm DWS has announced the appointment of an Australia CEO.
DWS has appointed Lidia Tomova as its CEO in Australia as well as chair of DWS Investments Australia Limited, according to a statement. In the role, she reports to Vanessa Wang, head of APAC and head of coverage, APAC.
Tomova has 20 years of experience with DWS and Deutsche Bank in Australia and the UK. She first began her career with the German lender’s global markets division in London in 2004.

Tomova succeeds Chris Robinson as DWS Australia CEO. Moving forward, Robinson will remain with the firm and continue to lead the liquid real assets business in the region as head of real estate securities, APAC.
