Alternatives fintech and solutions provider S64 has hired a former Deutsche Bank executive as its head of South Korea.

S64 has appointed Shawn Ko as head of South Korea, according to a statement. Based in Seoul, he will spearhead the firm’s operations across the country and work closely with local wealth managers, asset managers and financial institutions to optimize access to private markets.

Ko is a financial markets and alternative investment specialist with 20 years of experience, focused on South Korea. Prior to S64, he worked at Deutsche Bank for 15 years, leading the coverage of South Korean financial institutions.

S64 is a global alternatives solutions business that supports access to private markets. It works with global asset managers and private banks across private equity, credit, real estate, infrastructure and impact.
