Boston-headquartered Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo has hired a former Goldman Sachs Asset Management executive in Singapore.
Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo (GMO) has appointed Dexter Chua as head of intermediary business Asia (ex-Japan) for its Singapore office, according to a statement. In the role, he will drive GMO’s client engagement strategy and its business growth from financial intermediaries in the region.
Chua has over 15 years of industry experience, most recently as an executive director and head of Southeast Asia, third party wealth business at Goldman Sachs Asset Management for more than nine years. Previously, he also worked at J.P. Morgan Asset Management and BNP Paribas Asset Management.
