The securities services unit of Paris-based BNP Paribas has announced the appointment of a head of Hong Kong.

BNP Paribas’ Securities Services has appointed Laure Ly as head of Hong Kong according to a statement. Based in Hong Kong, she reports regionally to Franck Dubois, head of APAC for securities services, and locally to Hugo Leung, CEO of BNP Paribas Hong Kong.

Ly succeeds Julien Kasparian, who has been appointed as regional head UK & Middle East for securities services, subject to regulatory approvals.

Ly is a career executive at BNP Paribas’ securities services unit after joining it in 2004. Following a decade in the Paris office, she moved to the securities services business in Hong Kong in 2014. She was most recently head of client development for Greater China.
