Japanese insurer MSIG Asia has announced the appointment of two new senior vice presidents.
MSIG Asia has appointed Rajnish Pal as senior vice president and head of transformation, according to a statement. In the role, he will be pivotal in driving operational efficiency and fostering synergy across Asia with a focus on regional transformation initiatives, including optimizing business processes and leveraging innovative technologies.
Pal has more than 20 years of financial services and consulting experience across Japan, Hong Kong, ASEAN, UK and the US.
Underwriting, Reinsurance and Claims
The insurer has also named Christian Kolmberger as senior vice president, underwriting, reinsurance and claims. In the role, he will provide support in the non-marine class of business, including energy and construction, with a focus on advancing the firm's strategy on renewable energy.
Kolmberger has over 30 years of insurance experience with an extensive background in energy, construction and property insurance, along with renewable energy expertise across Europe, Australia and Asia Pacific.
