Insurance giant Prudential has appointed a new general manager for its Macau branch.

Prudential has appointed Edward Dai as general manager of the Macau branch officer, according to a statement, succeeding Chris Ma who has retired. He will also join the insurer’s Hong Kong executive committee, reporting to Hong Kong CEO Lawrence Lam.

Dai has over 20 years of insurance experience, first joining Prudential in 2013. He was most recently serving in several senior positions in the firm’s group and Hong Kong office, overseeing agency strategy development and agency management, including recruitment, training, retention, sales promotion and agency support.
